VA 56ers are a team of lazy, overweight men, looking for mild excitement during weekends. Our main aim at every game is to make sure that we return home with all our body parts intact and no broken bones. Until the cricket team was formed, our athletic accomplishments were restricted to the card game of 56 and lifting a glass of quality liquor.
We have been fielding calls from a lot of organizations about sponsoring our team, chief among them - Medical insurance companies, Liquor companies, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists and Orthopedic practices. Our Liquor Coordinators (every team should have one) are looking into the terms being offered before making a decision.
We have been winning quite a few games, but that says more about our opponents lack of cricketing ability, than our prowess. |
